Photo Contests have only increased in popularity over the last few years as smartphone cameras have improved and we’ve entered the age of the “selfie.” However, the online landscape has also changed a great deal. The growth of mobile internet traffic, in particular, is a game changer, making mobile responsive photo contests an absolute must.
Moonshot permits anyone to create a new contest of photography. The only requisites are:
- choose an # for your new contest
- take a picture for that new challenge
All photos are shot directly from within the Moonshot app! This means fair competition as users can only upload their original content. Other competitors allow to upload pictures you have in your gallery and this could bring to a lot of fake or duplicated content.
How to create a Photo Contest in Moonshot:
Press the camera button in the navigation bar.
Take a picture and optionally edit the photo.
Create a new challenge/contest choosing only 1 # hashtag. This will be your new challenge name
Write the new rules of your new created challenge
You can optionally insert a title for your post
Vote other pictures in the contest:
Fans can participate by voting, or uploading their best picture, and voting.
At Moonshot the ranking is in real time, as soon as you publish a picture, every-time a user votes your photo, your picture goes up in ranking.
